yes. Had been leasing my pasture for cows the last 10 years or so. Removed the cows and reclaimed pasture in pine trees so it has grown more ground cover…even though I have lost about 50% of my planted pines this year.

I think we just had a good hatch across the state for the 1st time in a decade honestly. I havent changed A SINGLE thing and Im seeing more young birds everywhere than I have in years.

I am seeing all hens this year…have seen a handful of Jake's in the past, but not hens so far.

Turkeys being turkeys, this bunch may well be three counties over come spring. Just saying they move where the food is.
