Made my first crappie foray of the season yesterday, guided by my friend, Bill Swan III. Yes, you read that right! Someone else guided ME, and he did a dang good job! 20 nice slab crappie along with some big bonus yellow perch and stripe! Probably could have found a limit but we went exploring other areas.

Retirement is a beautiful thing (although I am still booking guide trips for eight other guide partners)! A windy, but fun morning on The Big C (Chickamauga Lake). Headed back today.

nice. i went for the 1st time of the yr and couldnt find anything but small fish. were those fish deep?
