First bow kill!

Finally in my second season with my Hoyt compound I finally took my first archery deer! To beat it all I was on the ground and the deer came within 5 yards of me before I got a quartering away shot. He was a button buck - thought and wished he was a doe. Had a chance to shoot a mature doe the previous evening from the same spot but I moved too much to rush a shot. Looking for another this weekend!

Actually I was just sitting on a bucket between some trees and a briar patch. Had seen deer crossing about ten yards away twice. That was a thrill!
