First bear

Been hunting my property for close to twenty years. Never seen a bear. But knew it was just a matter of time. We actually seen one cross the road about 5 miles from our property 2 weeks ago. This is in sunbright in morgan county.

cool...there is one today in my mother in law's Johnson City subdivision eating all the seed in bird feeders. All bears do is tear things up in nature and in the hood. it is all they do.

Thats 1 animal I never would want around my home if I had young children, first sighting would be the last . pray for a season and take it out.

I'm kinda excited to see them. I knew they was around. Just never seen one in my property. As long as they leave my cameras alone I think we will be ok.

Don't bet on that! Also be weary of stands, fruit trees, fawn mortality, and the list goes on….

Yeah I have lost as many as 3 cameras in one season to them. Usually have to replace antennas on a couple each year as well. We have them around our house and you just learn to keep all trash in garage or storage building and no bird feeders around the house.
