No shore lunches this trip. Fishing buddy couldn't go this morn , still under the weather. We had a pretty good half day with a really good quality of fish. We were both about worn out. Mrs Lindsey asked "aren't y'all quitting kind of early." I told her we couldn't keep up with it any more.
Hopefully everybody gets to fish tomorrow morn before we head out.
Been hearing snow geese everyday flying over.

Well all we lack are the covers for the shooting hole.
Don't look too bad I don't think.

That looks really good ruger. Duck hunting is a year-round sport. If I'm not doing it I'm thinking about it. It is really a lot of work though especially if you run a big spread. Enjoy it because it doesn't last long. We should all thank God for this time of year it's really been beautiful. Hope everyone gets a big buck and hope we get a bunch of ducks

Thanks everyone that means alot to me since I am a knee booting newbie.
I actually enjoy the prep work but I will admit we worked our butts off on this one.

Is that a drawn blind? How deep is the water around those? We talked about needing a boat but my boat is a WarEagle BlackHawk and it runs a bit deep I was out west up at Realfoot looking around 3 years ago and found it some spots it was a bit shallow. Your blind looks good.

Yes this is one of the three we drew.
The water around this one last weekend was a tad over 8 feet deep. The other one in the same area is about the same I would imagine.
From what I have seen I think your boat will be fine.
I haven't been to the last one since we got water yet so I'm not sure how deep it will be there.

Biggest issue I have seen so far is logs and other debris in the boat ditches.

Thanks, I appreciate it man.
