I agree. I cringe at the thought of the Criminoles going undefeated again and winning back to back championships, and hearing how Rapeis has never lost a game while carrying himself with class and dignity. :sick: Luckily, they won't make it out of the playoff the way they struggle every game with weak ACC competition.

That won't happen. FSU will get crushed when they play a decent team.

If Bama were as good as the team and the fans think they are, then they should have beaten Ole Miss. They probably should have played Arkansas a little better too. They should have hung 60 on UT since they are so good and we are so bad. I didn't see any of that happen. Take away Amari Cooper and they've got more than one loss.

It isn't just Alabama fans who think they are a good team. The AP Voters, think they are at least the #2 team in the Nation, voters in the Coaches Poll think they are the #2 team in the Naiton, the voters in the ESPN Power Rankings poll think they are the #1 team in the Naiton and the bettors in Vegas think Alabama is the #1 team in the Nation.

You and a couple more people may not agree, but you are in the minority.

Oh and we will see what the Playoff Committee thinks of Alabama tomorrow. They had them #5 before they beat the #1 team in the Naiton.

I'm surprised that Bama beat the #1 team. I'm sure, I read on here somewhere that Bama didn't play that well their first game against WV and was going to lose 3 games this season. Is that still the case.... :D

Bama will have to beat Auburn for the head to head but what if Bama wins against Auburn and Miss St beats Ole Miss? Bama beats LSU, aTm, and Auburn. Same as Miss St. But then Miss St beats Ole Miss, the team that gave Bama their only loss.

This playoff deal is total BS imo. More confusing than it ought to be. Why not have a playoff like the NFL and be done with it. Other than the committee being smaller, I see no difference from the BCS.

Ole Miss isn't the Ole Miss that played Alabama. Treadwell isn't on the field. If Oregon can get a mulligan with offensive linemen hurt, seems reasonable to give Ole Miss the same mulligan in some form with their most explosive player out.

Also, look at MSU's out of conference schedule. It's pathetic. While West Virginia isn't a world beater, they beat Baylor and lost to Alabama.

It isn't that complicated at this point as nobody knows how it will turn out. There's still two games left for everyone and a conference title game for two teams. Let it play out and don't get caught up in the media driven speculation.

There are probably about 7 maybe 8 teams that still have legitimate chances of getting into the playoff barring total chaos in the current top 5.

Not like it at all. Everyone condemns drunk driving and vehicular homicide. Many alabammer fans will admit they are glad Updyke poisoned Auburn's trees. That's the difference. ;)

I would think that being an ex Vol had nothing to do with them being alcoholics and drunk drivers.

What Harvey Updyke did was a result of being a lifelong Bama fan.

I understood what you said and why you said it. What I was saying about the 3 Vols, since you used that example, is them being alcoholic and involved in DUI with fatality was not a direct result of them being UT alumni.

What Updyke did was directly related to him being an Alabama fan.

Deny it if you wish but there is a lot of the 85% that applaud Updyke. If you are a lifelong bammer fan as you say and you spend any time with the fans or on message boards you know this. I've never been to a bammer message board and I saw it on facebook threads and heard bama fans laugh about it.

I don't do facebook and I don't know any Bama fans that approved of what Updyke did, not a single one. I wouldn't call people on facebook fans of Alabama. From what I've been told, people just like to take things to the extreme on there because of the reaction that can be seen. I don't recall any sports message board Alabama fans cheering the action either. Sure, there were some idiots from other fanbases trying to stir up things worse, but it wasn't Alabama fans. The actual Bama fans know that the powers that be could and would end the games between the two schools if necessary. It's been done before, for 40 years.

One thing I'm not is a bammer. I have never had such low self esteem that I had to attach myself to a team in another state that I have no ties to so I could feel like a winner. I've never had a desire to lump myself with trailer trash, incorporate "roll tide" into everyday conversation, name my kid Krimson or Tyde, look for dates at a family reunion, or numerous other despicable things bammers do.

But I understand everyone doesn't know what it feels like to be a winner. So if someone needs to get on the bandwagon of a team in another state and hang out on a Tennessee forum saying "we beat ya'll" even though they are probably lifelong Tennesseans with no ties to alabammer, I'll just to feel sorry for them.
