Obviously KVD is the best on the planet. I like Mark Rose (local guy that grew up fishing the MS River like me), Ott, Hackney. I like a bunch of them. I used to hate Ike but I have grown to really like him. He is always teaching and sharing knowledge.

Ott Defoe and his wife come in to my Post Office couple times a week. They are as down to earth as anyone you'd ever hope to meet. Super nice folks.

Ott is a really stand up guy. His whole family is big into bass fishing. His brother, dad, and uncles work hard on the BASS High School circuit here.

Major League Fishing on outdoor channel. YouTube. Used to see FLW Tour and Bassmasters on TV a lot but not lately.

Skylar Hamilton is another stand up guy. Doesn't have to be a bass, he likes to fish. He took a young man a few years ago that caught a state record sucker.

KVD had a very impressive win at the 2016 Summit Cup with 40 fish weighing 74 pounds, 9 ounces. This video is from inside KVD's boat for all of Period 2. It's long, but worth a watch.

Rolsnd Martin's friendly tv personality is all just a show according to guys that fished with him when he was a tournament competitor. Supposedly he was a huge Richard cranium and thought he owned the lake because he was Roland Martin.

I fished semi pro both BASS and the Redman circuit for 10 years. I fished with a lot of the best as a non boater KVD is every bit as nice as he seems. Denny Braure is kinda a jerk. Back in the day Fish Fishburn was funny enough even during a tournament to make you cry from laughing, and Rick Clunn taught me more about flipping jigs in one weekend that I ever thought possible fishing on the Arkansas River out of Pendleton .
