I guess if you're young enough it can be called "ages". :) I've heard it for maybe 5 or 10 years..........

That's why I post anything from a dead spotted fawn to a forkhorn to a nice 8pt or even the big 10 pt that I let walk for next year. Because it's about hunting and not meeting everyone else's standards. I like to see what everyone here kills, and I like to share mine as well. You don't like what I killed, that's fine, it's not your deer. I hate seeing people make excuses for their buck not being the biggest or calling a young buck "freezer meat" to avoid backlash from trophy hunters... I used to get butthurt when people talked bad about my kill but after a while I come to realize that it's an Internet forum and there will be some trash sometimes and it shouldn't keep you from sharing your kill that you are happy with.

That's mostly what the forum is....not much information or strategy is talked about because one person is bashed for having a way of doing things then another then one is more right than the other then it goes on. Instead of learning from what others do or have done. Then after that it's "age and score please" then it's "it's not a trophy but it's good to me" post...people defending themselves before the submit the original thread. People shouldn't have to do that. H e ll even my post. I try to post informative threads and then I get bashed eventually for being a fraud,copycat,or whatever even after I've disclosed my source of knowledge I'm going by. People too lazy to research the other post yet rather just go on and post negative irrelevant comments. I've notice how this forum is getting that way. Wasn't like that when I first started then again I was new. I just would rather see more informative deer hunting threads or informative threads in general
