electronic caliper

My electronic caliper has gone bad on me. What is a good electronic one to replace it with? Now I don't need the best one on the market.

I recently purchased one made by Frankford Arsenal. It's one of the cheaper ones but seems plenty accurate.

I use one from an auto parts store. Does just fine

Might get some pushback on this, but the ones at Harbor Freight work decently, at least for our purposes. I get repeatable numbers from these and that is all I need. I have two dial calipers that I compared them with and they match up, again at least to the thousand position. I got them for $10 when they went on sale, so I got three, that way I could put an anvil on one and dedicate it to the OAL gauge.

Nice, did you get them at a discount? I got micrometers from the same brands.

Yes, discount from taking classes for continuing education. The Mit calipers at home were a gift from an engineer friend as he left for another position.
