I'm in SE Alabama and my lab pup just bumbed a hen of her nest two foot off the edge of my walking path . We walk the same same path every day and she has never hit on the eggs before . Has anybody seen nest this late ?

The hen has not been back since we bumped her. I took the eggs and have them in an incubator to hopefully hatch em out .
Might as well try

Wow, that just shows how sensitive turkeys are to human intrusion. Nature has shown them that once their nest is discovered, it's time to move on. Predators don't forget.

If she was more than 3 or 4 days into incubation, the eggs will go bad if cooled down to air temperature for more than 24 to 36 hours. Be sure to candle them in a week and get them out of the incubator If they aren't developing so they don't explode.

Preciate the info . Been down this road before with my free range birds .
