Food Plots Eagle Soybeans

Planted may 12th and they performed beyond my expectations. 4 acre plot in unit L with good deer population. I did a soil test in March and applied as directed minus lime. Planted may 12 and then sprayed roundup 7 weeks later. I would definetly recommend eagle soybeans! Will lime before next year.

I also think it is on the same level with Whitetail Institute Ladina Clover. Mine get about 2 feet tall because the deer clobber them. 4 feet tall in the isolation cages.

Well worth the money.

Yea I love eagle seed beans but we don't hav any fields over 2'acres and the deer absolutely eat them to the dirt. Good product.

Did you do anything to keep the deer out until the beans were established? Broadcast or row planting? I had four acres planted about 4 years ago and the deer didn't let them get above 8" tall, they kept them mowed down.

I did a solar fence until they got half knee high. One stand electric fence. I think it kept a few out and gave the beans a head start.

My Eagle beans did well until the last two weeks. Bean stalks with pods but very few leaves.

I recommend them highly.

In the last three weeks the deer have hit the bean pods like Ive never seen it. Almost total stripped of pods where they usually last into December.



I had a buddy mow them down so I could plant some late oats/wheat/clover
