Planted this myself last year and plan to plant again if rains this fall...anyhow got a question. I thought it was an annual but I was on the UT-K extension page about Tennessee food plots, I've seen guys on here reference UTK, and in the planting charts they list dwarf essex rape as a perennial-doesn't that mean it comes back more than 1 year? Anybody know, does this rape re-seed itself? is this a misprint? Anybody had rape more than 1 year?

gotta be a misprint,... a perennial plant last for years. Such as ladino clover lasting for 3 to 5 years.
a biennial plant last for 2 years. This is red clover
annual plant last for less than 1 year.

Plus,.. its listed as a annual in all my other publications.

DER is an annual but it can be an aggressive reseeder. I imagine that may be why they listed it as perennial. However, it is classified as an annual.
