Well I'm stuck in the house for a while due to hernia surgery so post some pictures and or how yall are doing. This isn't tn ducks, not as many scavengers so pics should be safer here lol. Good luck to all and maybe this northern weather will bring yall some birds.
Be safe

2 mallards and 2 hooded mergs in E TN. Saw a decent amount of ducks saturday morning. Went back and got soaked sunday and didn't see hardly any. We did see a small raft of bluebills hanging out. Talked to a few guys at the ramp that got into some woodies

Holler if y'all ever need one. If our farmer doesn't get our pit fixed at our lease in Waldenburg then I'm gonna be public land only this year. I live in Memphis and have a lot of decoys and a 4 wheeler if needed.

Right now this is a $5,000 duck lol

This is a $10,000 deer, no bull. Me and 4 buddies got on a lease when I lived in Texas, 2500 a head. Only deer ever seen in person by us in the full year we had the place. At least there were some good fish in the tanks, and a few ducks shot. I also go two Rios on the last weekend we had it in the spring. But still, it was supposed to be a deer lease.

That's rough. Our problem was farmer waited too long to start flooding the field and the only day I got to hunt so far was that last day of the first split. O and the pit had a hole in it so i was standing in water up to my stomach the whole time too lol. Said he got it fixed though so we'll see Thursday. Should be a great weekend with this weather.

So did yall renew the lease the next year?

If you're asking me, the answer was a resounding no. It was sold as a 500 acre lease, but I'm a GIS professional, and measured it as 240. It's a sucker lease within a 2 hours drive of Dallas. He could rotate it out ever year with new people if he didn't care about his reputation.
