This is the driest I've seen the bottoms in a long time, particularly the NW area. Will make for an interesting opener. Good luck this season.
Definitely be interesting if you do have some water. We have a swamp area and have had 2 4" pumps running 24-7 for 10+ days at 1,000 gallons a min. Just now close to decent water level.
That's what I'm wondering too. At least the ducks will have a 5 day break before the next opener. I'm just glad duck season is finally here.Opening day will have hunting pressure on most places with water. In doing so give the ducks no place to sit and rest and most ducks will leave the area.
