Officially scored at 145 3/8" Zach was closest, the reason I posted it is because 8's only get so big imo and that one is the biggest I've seen/killed.
like I said, there's a 169" B&C 8 point mounted at Walmart in spring hill, do you want me to take a pic next time I'm there? Since you seem to need solid concrete proof to believe anything slightly out of the ordinary

Sure, sorry but there's so much bs spewed during deer season my initial reactions are to call bs on most out of the ordinary.

Ok guys I messaged him and gained permission to post his deer.
He confirmed that he is actually 156 &5/8" as an 8 point and 166" as a 15 point counting the stickers.

Great buck, gonna be a beast 2.5 or 3.5 ?
What am I missing here? Why wouldn't you put an arrow through that deer?
Fleet fox is my next door neighbor and has a lot of history with this buck, and I would not have found the place where I live now (and hunt) had he not referred me to it so I owe it to him not to shoot that deer, it's just another deer to me. That deer would be my biggest by far, but there's a good chance of bigger bucks showing up during the rut
Gotcha and good for you holding off then.

Catman made me proud by passing this buck. Definitely a man of his word. He will be rewarded at some point this season because of it. The rut brings in a ton of much larger mature bucks because of all the property surrounding us, that is not hunted and has no pressure. The other guy hunting the property Catman hunts also agreed not to shoot him, but I think we are both a little skeptical of that. This buck has had a small range for the last 2 years, even during the rut. I feel comfortable saying he will be a pretty easy target, and a stud, as a 4 year old. He's fair game for Catman or myself at that point, as long as he makes it through this season.

I just hope he don't become a recluse next year. But I guess a hot doe could change all that
