I Am seeing alot of dove early this year how do you think it will affect oppening day?

What part of the state are you in? We hunt middle Tennessee, but I have not noticed a large number. They are migratory but we keep a good resident population all summer. I have no idea how it will impact opening day but I cant imagine it would hurt yours unless the food source was scarce and they moved on because too many in the area. However, I am not an expert. I do love September 1 every year. It is a great weekend with dad and my boys. What will you hunt over?

iam gonna hunt forks of the river WMA goose hunt in the mornin then dove hunt

we use to hunt the quwana [SP] club hunt in sweetwater but they only had a small peice of property to hunt on about 3 years ago so we quit that & i have been hunting opening day closer to the house since then,went to forks of the river 2 years ago & a guy banged a killdee & then walked over to me & said what kind of a dove is this ,bought a robo dove last year & was not impressed with it maybe this will be the year mike243
