I have had two dual pro chargers to go bad. One was under warranty and service was great. Sent me new one with a pre-paid shipping box to return old one. Sold boat and bought another boat and a new dual pro. This one went bad just after warranty ran out. They offered me a new one for $200 plus me return bad one, which still worked on one side. At the same time, Bass Pro had the same model on sale for $189. I gave the bad one to someone that just needed a single charger and went to bass pro and bought a bass pro model triple bank,5amp/5amp/5amp, charger on sale for just over $100. I kept that boat for a couple of years and had no problem. I then bought another boat, which I have now, and put another BPS triple bank charger in it. I have had it for a little over two years and have had no problems with it. They put 5 amps per bank and as one battery gets fully charged, it will put more amps toward the uncharged batteries. Both dual pro's were 10/10amps. I can't tell the difference in charging times. I would recommend PBS chargers, if you do have problems after warranty is out, throw it away and buy another and still have less money invested than a dual pro. I think there warranty is two years, but I'm not sure. Hope this helps. Also, all chargers mentioned were used nearly every week of the year, and sometimes two or three times.
