Doe estrous, does it work? To use or not to use...

Buddy talked me into buyin some special golden estrous. Debating on using in am.. Any thoughts? Also what exactly is estrous?

A few weeks ago I had an eight bedded down ten yards from my stand. This is during the time when I was seeing a lot of chasing. He was directly down wind but wasn't smelling me so I figured it was because he was so close my scent was going over his head. Anyways I looked in my bag and had a bottle of golden estrus so I pulled it out and poured it on the ground ten yards up wind of him and he had no reaction at all. NOTHING. He stayed around about an hour then got up and walked off.
If you catch the rite buck in the rite mood he may come to it. I do not believe I will ever use any scent again but if I do I will use it on a drag rag headed to my stand.

Yes it works but as i have said before it is not magic. I don't use the special golden estrous but i have used tinks buck bomb and code blue and it has worked for me.

I used the buckbomb estrus sunday didnt see a thing set in another stand yesterday bout 100 yards in front of the other stand thru some woods seen what had to have been a big 8 or bigger took the shot lost blood trail but back to topic makes me want to think it doesnt work as effectivly as everyone thinks but that also was a first time using it so cant say 100%

Your own urine is free and probably works just as well.

I've had lead doe's flag and raise cain over it.. But only this one time opening day of rifle 8-9 years ago I was on stand and around 8:00, i realized I had forgot to put it out. I had tinks bottle and code blue hung it on branch right beside me and i swear 5 min later big 8 came across field straight threw about 20 cows and stopped 40 yards from me.. one and only time it believe it worked for me

Use your own.....cheaper and will work just as well. The bottled doe urine is useless unless it passes through the entire system and picks up various secretions from various glands.
