Killed a big nanny this morning, dressed 95lbs. I killed her at 8:30am and had her hanging by 9:30. It's supposed to get up to around 60 degrees today and I have a few things to do before I skin her. Will the meat be ok if she hangs for a few hours. I'm going to skin her as soon as I can but it prob be 2pm.

Well done, congrats. If possible, throw a couple bags of ice in her chest cavity

^^^ Do this and you'll be good to go. Nice doe and a super nice rifle.

Congrats! When they have to hang a while I put a bag of ice in the chest and a bag of ice between the back legs (hung from back legs of course). It cools down the hams, backstrap and front shoulders just fine.
