If I have a a corn feeder that throws corn from a battery powered motor, can I simply remove the battery from that feeder 10 days before deer season to comply with the law? I have a friend in Alabama that told me a story of a game warden that inspected a feeder like mine and kicked it causing corn to fall out, and used that to write him a ticket. That warden said he had to remove all the corn from the feeder, not just the battery. Any help with this would be appreciated. I definitely want to do what's right and stay within the law.
