My top cam got some dirt on the serving as I lowered my bow down from my stand. I brought bow home and hooked d loop to nail and rotated cams to try to blow it out.

Is getting dirt on the cam serving a problem waiting to happen or no big deal?

It can create wear some wear on the serving and string, but only if it's a lot of dirt--like dipped in mud basically. I wouldn't worry about it to be honest. You generally replace your strings once a year anyway, so you'll be okay. For piece of mind, of you would like, hold it at full draw and get your wife to wipe the dirt off with a damp cloth. For what it's worth, I did the same thing this morning.... LOL.

Yeah so no dice on the wife but I hung it on a bow holder and pulled it down and blew on the serving and shot it some. We good.
