found my night crawlers from two weeks ago in the fridge, thought they'd die by then. The meal worms didn't make it. Oh well. Hopefully, thursday, I can hook something or another

they should last a while as long as one doesn't die, if one earthworm dies they all die unless you remove the dead one. I had mealworms brought down here from PA last summer and they lasted a long while, maybe you had a bad batch or something. Can't beat nightcrawlers though

If I put nightcrawlers in my fridge and my wife found them, I am pretty sure I wouldn't last as long as they did.

How long do you think Wal Mart keeps them in the fridge? If packed right nightcrawlers will keep for a long time.

Usually the reason night crawlers will die in the fridge is because typically they are kept colder at home than the ones they keep bait in.
