Let's see some deer mounts! List some details with your pictures like when the deer was killed, who did the mount for you, the time it took to get the mount back, price, etc. Whatever you feel comfortable putting on here. The more info the better. I'll add some pictures to this next week when I pick up my first whitetail mount.

I just picked up this buck yesterday. A friend from the fire department mounted it. He's self-taught and prices accordingly. I paid him more than he asked.

Thanks, guys. No, he's not a TN deer-probably should have provided more details. I killed him up in Noble Co Ohio on the place hunter drew and I hunt.

He's my biggest buck. 144" gross 135" and change net.

My plan is to go to taxidermy school in May, so hopefully I'll have some more to show soon. I plan on mounting a 10pt my wife killed in TX in 2001 and a 10pt I killed last year as part of the class.

Here's one I let a buddy from the fire department mount for his first one 18 years ago. Not sure if he ever made it. My wife hates it-said it looks like a pervert. Our lab we had for 12 years hated it, too.

This is third on my list to mount myself.

Pedestal mount by Millington Taxidermy in 2000. Cost about $500. I provided the pedestal.

Here is a TN buck I killed in 2012 . This pic is at his shop while he was finishing it up. Havent got around to taking finished pics. Chip Hayes in Manchester, TN mounted it. If anyone has payed any attention to the NWTF convention taxeridermy contest the last few years you have seen his work. Havent seen any of his work that wasnt awesome.

Here are a couple of mine on a pedestal I made from an old Family barn that was torn down, which we had a hunting camp inside of it for yrs. A lot of memories in that wood. sorry for the long range pic.

Looks pretty cool now that I got them turned upside down. Love pedestals.

All these were mounted by the same guy, he is no longer in business, I've got one being mounted now by Robert Heathcock in Finger, I'll post it on here when I get it back

Wow Tickweed! That is awesome!

Randy Smart did this one. I've never seen a bad mount done by Randy.

In total I paid him $420. $10 tip, $10 piece of felt, $80 plaque so to do the mount was just $320

I have quite a few deer mounted as my "biggest" deer to date got progressively bigger over time. :)

Most of my mounts are mounted by Williams Taxidermy in Baxter. He does a fantastic job. The last mount that I had done in 2011 was by Peek's Taxidermy in Rickman. He is a buddy of mine from work and doing an extremely good job so I had to let him do this one. He has another one to do for me from this year.

This is my favorite from Peek's Taxidermy
