Made a steep 10 yard shot on this doe and watched her go down in the creek. It got a bit bloody (stained the creek red) so I had to edit out some of it, but it was an awesome hunt. You can see she was smelling where I had walked, right before I shot. Glad I used the creek to cover some of my scent.

Great job on the hunt and video Catman! I like the build up of all the critters before the doe kill.
 
Excellent job with the video catman! I would say that is your best one so far! The assortment of critters was really cool and I like how you showed all the time you spent in the stand that led up to the day you shot the doe. Getting the shot and the animal going down on film aint easy. Great job and congrats!

thanks CAW it might be one of my favorites. Although I admit it was kind if hard watching that doe die, the steep shot angle made it take just a bit longer for her to go down and it was all in sight. I'm not squeamish at all but I also don't like to see em suffer. She sure died quicker than some of the deer I've shot. Bled out pretty quick and stained the creek. Had to edit that out.

Again another good video. I noticed you held at full draw for about 45 seconds on that doe. Did you pull to early and was forced to hold or could you have waited a bit longer before drawing? Hard to tell from the video. I would have been shaking by that point.

I drew when I had the chance, and had to wait for a clear shot while she took her time. At 59 pounds, holding for 45 seconds is nothing. I actually didn't realize how long. It was until I watched the video. It all happened fast in real life. I don't start shaking bad till about 2 minutes at full draw (and I've never shot a deer after holding for 2 minutes)

thank you, this year I'm using a panasonic V250. Budget camera that has great video and audio quality and a crazy good zoom. Optical 50x, Intelligent 90x and digital up to 3000x. I just filmed the full moon tonight and the moon covered the whole screen and in clear HD as well.
