It has been a couple years since my last duck hunt. I used to be hardcore and loved it more than anything but the duck numbers around Jackson county have not been good the last few years. There used to be lots of grass on Cordell hull but almost all of it is gone. With nothing else to do today me and a buddy decided to go. We killed 8 but not the kind we wanted. Good eating mallards would have been better but these are better than nothing. Here's a pic of the four I shot.
