im going to be hunting down in decateur co around the bath springs area on the tn river this weekend and was curious what yall are seeing as far as buck sightings go? also is rattling or grunting getting any responses down there? thanks!

I'm not in Decatur Co but I hunt land right across the river and I don't know what to tell you it seems off and on. I go one morning and small bucks are chasing like crazy. The only mature buck I've seen chasing was an 8 pt that I let go cause I had already taken one a little bigger who was checking my plot for does. The next day I see does in groups of 3-5 walking and feeding with out a worry in the world and bucks walking in and out paying them no attention. As far as rattling goes I've had some luck bringing in the little fella's but no go on the big brutes.

I've seen some chasing just haven't seen what I'm looking for. I know of afew great bucks killed this week in Decatur county. FYI I hunt the northern end of the county
