Wild morning. We were covered up. Got impatient watching a bunch a couple hundred yards away and moved to them. My typical move: set up decoys at dark, abandon them if better opportunity arises. After we moved I looked back at two toms attacking my decoy and a handful of hens. Should have just stayed put.

Made a big move once the toms all filtered away with the hens. Had about a dozen jakes come in on a string, right into our lap. Operator error on the gun (had it half cocked), spooked them getting it cocked. They were bocking, I bocked back and here they come again. Cloud 9 and a proud dad!
