Dinner with my wife this Friday and this is what I will be eating. Menu is set, but we have not rec'd an email yet where the dinner in Nashville will be. Should here tomorrow. Each course is paired with a beer from Brooklyn Brewery, so beers not released to the public.

#1-Seared Shrimp, micro green salad, seafood essence croutons, citrus vinaigrette

#2-Beef tartar, parsnip puree, pomegranate, parsley salad

#3-Seared trumpet mushrooms, slow cooked egg, squash puree, delicata squash

#4-Ropa vieja, yucca suppli, cilantro oil

#5-Grits, creole cheescake flan, strawberry compote, pecan crumble, candied cilantro
 
Dinner Lab...man I really wanted to attend that one but it sold out in minutes.

Please follow up with a review, I joined back in January but have yet to attend a dinner.
 
I'm not a member, just got lucky and got tickets thru Brooklyn Brewery's website. There are 100 seats, 50 for DL members and 50 for non. You may still be able to buy tickets thru Brooklyn Brew's website.

My wife and I wanted to join DL but living outside of Nashville and two kids, we just couldn't do it.
 
Cool article Poser. My wife and I traveled to Chile a few years ago and thru the internet found an underground club there at a house, but didn't have the kohanas to try it out.

not sure what some of this stuff even is, but boy it sound good :D
 
This menu is actually one of the more tame ones that I have come across, I knew what most of this stuff was.

Let me know how it was when you get a chance...curious about the overall vibe of the event as well.
 
Dinner was great. The egg course needed toast/bread to help with the egg. I don't have a pic of the desert, but it was the best desert I've ever had. All beer pairings were awesome. Pre dinner cocktail was a nice start to the evening. The space looks like an empty building from the outside, but inside they are growing micro greens and mushrooms for local restaurants, ex: Husk. We made some new friends, not the young hipster crowd. Two of the people we sat with are friends with dinner lab, so you had an extra beer after dinner when most people had left and a bottle of Noah's Mill bourbon was floating around. Anytime you sit down for dinner at 8:00 and don't leave till 11:00, I would say it's been a great evening.

Finally got a chance to look at the pictures, looks awesome. Good to hear about the crowd as well, was a little worried about that one.
