Had a sling break on my M70 while I was on the riverbank in the Northlands of Alberta and of course my scope took the brunt of impact off a riverrock.

It's a 3.5-10x40 Leupold something something II

Does anybody know the process to send back to Leupold and get them to check it out?

Any tips / tricks?

Best I remember, there's a form to fill out on their website. Send the scope in along with form. They will repair or replace free. They replaced a 20+ year old set of binos for me 4-5 years ago. I just couldn't see thru the scratched lens anymore

I recently did this. Go to the website and fill out the warranty form, they will send you a warranty request number with the shipping address and then follow up with you via email when they receive it.

I just sent an RDS back in November after my .454 beat it to death. I filed a warranty claim thru the website and shipped it to them. Took about 5 weeks for a replacement to show up.

I got it submitted and sent in. Hopefully they can just repair that scope, but if not, whatevs. If everything goes smooth with the process, I will buy only Leupold from now on.

Thanks for the help, guys! Ill let yall know how it goes.

Heard back from them. My scope was unrepairable so they are sending a new VX3HD.

I'll be hard pressed to put anything else on my rifles from now on.
