That looks awesome Steve! I have been thinking about getting one of those. I sure wish I had your skills. My skill is to tear up guns, not improve them...

Oil rod actually, some type of oil impregnated delrin scrap piece I found in the scrap pile.

I'm not even sure it will clear the scope, but had to start somewhere. I can always trim it down later, and I was going to put 3 grooves for texture on the flat area, or maybe a large radius cut out in there, just something for a light grip.

Works perfectly. Maybe an 1/8" between the scope and the knob, much easier to control now as well.
