Cumberland City ?

I can't remember who went there a few weeks ago and caught some skipjack.

Just curious if anyone has been in the last week or so and if so, was anything biting?

Thinking very seriously about going tomorrow just to wet a line and catch something.... if it ain't just absolutely pouring down rain.

Stripe are hitting OK on the river in the mouths to creeks, but I cannot speak about the actual "Cumberland City" fishing area. Cross Creeks opened up a week or so ago, crappie ought to be doing something in their soon if not already.

i normally go up there about once a week. you should be able to catch a few skipjack. i caught a few last saturday night. if not go get you some shiners and fish the slow moving water at either end of the catwalk.

If its like any other coal powered plant like New Johnsonville,cast a red and chartruse jig around the boils.You should catch all you need pretty quick.

I had the boat out there a few years ago (2005) in mid April and couldn't keep the rockfish off the line. They were stacked up in the mouth of the discharge.
