Im retiring in MAY 24 got the bass fishing /cat fishing kind of down. But I could use some help regarding crappie fishing. how to spot/troll/ baits rigs equipment - from a starters perspective. Any help greatly appreciated.
Tried trolling minnow on doll flies but aint had much luck. Primary lake is Cherokee starting at Fall Creek Marina.

I'd suggest visiting CrappieNOW Magazine (www.CrappieNOW.com) All content is totally FREE, and searchable. I'm the Editor, BTW. It is a great resource for folks seeking to learn more about catching crappie.

Wow thanks so much, plenty of reading and great videos..Ill be busy.
Congrats on retirement. I cant wait. Hope to retire in 3 yrs at 52. I like you well versed in fishing but knew nothing about crappie. Bought a new boat in june of last yr and man was it a learning experience. But we did learn. Gordon pettie and brandon lester videos were so helpful to me. Plus many many others. It started slow for us, but we really had great luck once we figured out the local lakes. Stay with it.
