couple cranks and a jerkbait

Bought some "Wicked Colors" paint and wanted to try it. Not going for anything particular, just trying some similar colors out.

Those colors look great. But im thinking of them on some kind of craw bait.... But then again im a shallow water fisherman... Fishing rivers and targeting smallmouth! Great looking baits and awesome color! You do a great job painting! Keep it up!

AO... those 2 are squarebill cranks... shallow running. Maybe 4 to 5 foot. I haven't thrown that brand yet. The jerkbait was just a test. I've never painted a minnow bait and had been putting it off. I have no clue what depth it'll work at. I'm not a big jerkbait guy. The Smithwick is the only ones i ever throw... and almost always in clown.

Easy... I'm still really new to airbrush. I tried it one time several years ago on a deer i was working on at my buddies taxidermy shop and hated it. I couldn't even write my name with it. Give me a brush or a spray can and i was happy. I'm forcing myself to learn it. Sometimes i think I may be more proud of them than others... kinda like the guy who thinks his girlfriend is beautiful but she's really butt ugly! I'm at least better than I was with it.

I have a couple of X-raps that could use a new paint job, if you want some extra practice. I would expect them back though.

I've been pulling all my old cranks out boxes the last couple days to repaint them... amazing what tou have that you don't remember buying.

I hope to catch some on them SCN. The wife is taking some time off this month which will give me a couple free days to fish. It'll probably be 35 degrees and raining but I plan on daylight to dark being there.

i talked to an electrician today about adding another breaker and outlet in the little room I'm closing in down in the basement. With the heater running and the blow drier running it trips the breaker. It's only 15 amps. Slowly but surely I'll get it done. The wife said I couldn't paint in the man cave upstairs... guess it's not as much of a man cave as I thought.

I have the same electrical problem.

My box is full, no room for another breaker.

My box isn't full. I have 6 or 8 empty slots I reckon. Luckily my box is only about 2 foot from where i want to add another outlet. He acted like it wouldn't take but 10 minutes to do what I want. The wall is open right now.
