Anybody know what the water looks like at Roaring River or heard any reports? It looks like the generation is getting down where it is not too swift to jig and the water should be cleared up. This weekend may be good if it doesn't rain too much tonight and muddy the river up. Trying to decide whether to chase sauger or go to Center Hill and chase smallies. The smallies are biting good, but I would like to get in a couple of good sauger days as well. Decision, decisions........... :)

My uncle said he saw many trailers parked at the Roaring River park boat dock area a couple of days ago there. He said, I think, 10 or so, which is alot for that area, so I'm guessing something is biting.
I've been wanting to get out myself and do a little sauger fishing, but I'm afraid with this rain, they are gonna kick the generation back up again.

I pass by the ramp every day and there have been several boats every weekend for the last month or so. don't know about the current but the water is fairly clear.

We went and didn't do much good. Went up the river and probably should have went down. The water is still a little stained. I would have liked for it to be clearer. There were not many boats in the parking lot this morning.
