Been down that road, I may have shot one with spots opening day of bow season this year an posted it, over 800 bad comments an all kind of threats against my life an my families, I took it down an just keep what I kill to myself that don't meet the societies standards of big horns. I kill two good eight points later on an post them an nothing. Don't let high horse hunters get to you, do what's legal an makes YOU happy, screw the rest. People already believe what they believe about hunting an a couple of small deer ain't gonna hurt/change their minds.

Of course unless its a buck under 3 1/2 years old , more than one buck a year, a buck that my neighbor shot because that was my deer, a buck under x inches , I'm sure there are more examples. I don't hunt for meat but when I do it's either for a big deer to make a lot of jerky or I like to kill fawns and take the hams to the BBQ pit. Vealenison is pretty good too though

the third deer i ever killed and the first one i killed on my own was a little fawn. i got to the check in store and an old guy made fun of it . just a real jerk . i was very proud of my deer.
