Hey,Im wanting to add some clover of various species to some places where its just grass now.Im going to buy some cleth and spray later. Can I now spread it and ruff up the ground with a rake on my tractor and expect it to come up,then, when green up comes spray the cleth to kill the grasses? How long does the seed last in the ground?Ive heard of people seeding on the snow,I figured this would be about as good.

I would spray glyphosate on the grass areas if we get a warm spell in February then topsow once it yellows. Mow it low to thatch over the seed.

Clethodim is slow, and works best on annual grasses. Save it for when the summer grasses show up in late April.

Start clean, stay clean.
