Awesome and congratulations! My uncle that passed away two years ago had a camp and cabin very near the lake just south west of Abbeville. I bet he had that place 40 years. Don't know what has become of it now. Hope you get as much joy from yours as he did from his. 👍

I primarily fish Sardis Lake, but it's a 1.5 hour drive from my house. I've been looking for a fish camp there for a while and I found one recently and closed today. It's a half-acre lot with a 24 wide x 32 deep metal shop with a wall down the middle. One 12' wide side is boat parking. The other side has a 12x12 bathroom and a 20 x 12 bedroom. Outside it has a 10x16 workshop/ storage building, a nice fish cleaning station, and 2 complete rv hookups on gravel with electric, water, and sewer. The seller has until next Friday to be out so I'll be moving some stuff in next weekend. It's 5 minutes off the interstate and 7 minutes to the closest boat ramp. I can't wait to start fishing out of my own place.
I have been looking myself. Found my dream deal, 6 wooded acres, 30x40 wired shop, and comfortable living quarters. It was still posted for sale, but had been under contract 3 weeks. Bummer...
