Clearing out and still picking peppers

October 30 -

Loaded up a bunch off the front door Reaper plant.

Pulled the T posts and tomatoes, mowed everything down. Yes there were still numbers of hornworms eating the tomatoes.

One tomato plant gets pretty long after a whole season

And pretty thick at the base

Now debating whether or not I should sow wheat as a cover, or is it too late to get a good thick layer?

its not too late for winter wheat but the better question is can you get some water to it because there aint none in the forecast.

yes I can reach it with a hose and hand water. The drought is killing me, been needing to get some wheat in the back field for the deer!

Looks like a decent chance of rain later this week. Get the seed out soon if you can.

I picked about 6 lbs of green beans today and getting ready to put them in the freezer. Still getting tomatoes, peppers and eggplant as well.
