what is the best way to clean the inside of the breech plug on the optima? I have heard use a drill bit (3mm-7/64) but is there any other easy ways to do it? i have tried pipe cleaners but the material keeps coming off and then i have to get that out. Can you just soak it in hot water or solvent then dry it out?

CVA optima. it was new last year so not real dirty but i just want to be sure i keep the inside of the breech plug clean. I have not found an easy way to do it yet and wasnt sure if soaking in water or something else would work. I am fairly new to ML's but not to rifles, just dont want to mess it up somehow.

might work for T7 but doesnt to jack with Blackhorn209.

Actually with T7, Pyrodex, simple hot soapy water works darn good and is super cheap.
