Cherokee lake big island

Anybody hunted the big island on Cherokee lake this year? I'm just curious how the deer movement may be. And if it is over loaded with acorns. I used to hunt it a lot, and killed quite a few deer out of there, but it's been Prolly 5 years since I hunted it. I'm gonna go down and give er a try this mornin.

Well I'm here and it's raining acorns as I expected. Seems to be a lot of sign on the ground tho.

Where is the Big Island at. I ahve been looking for somewhere to hunt.

I used to hunt some islands on Cherokee all the time. Are you talking about the chain of islands near greenlee boat dock?

Anywhere between points 23 and 26. "Ski holler and powerline holler" its a lot thicker than it used to be, and I have never seen so many acorns in my life. But there are still some good looking places on it.
