Everyone is comparing harvest numbers from last year Let's skip back a few years at the same time
2015 36040
2014 45807
2013 42867
2012 57684
2010 51955
If doe limits stay the same it will only get worse it's not weather and not buck limit What do you get if you are a farmer and sell all of your heifers and keep all of your bulls or sell all of your hens and keep all roosters eventually you run out I would a whole lot rather sit and watch does than nothing at all Where there is does there is bucks All of these other big deer hunting states has plenty of does but yet big bucks also

I have yet to see a deer! Ha-Ha My wife has saw a small 4 point. We have hunted 4 stands in 2 counties and there is very little deer sign every where we have looked. We have hunted a mix of small fields and mature hardwoods and just can't seem to find the deer.

Farmers with nuisance permits I've seen completely wipe out bean fields.
Groups of hunters coming from out of town. Laying down 15 + deer in a single weekend.
makes me cringe..

Just think back 4 or 5 year ago at what the hunting was like vs now some places haven't seen an impact but most have especially wmas

The numbers don't lie, ask Wisconsin how the whack em and stackem mentality worked out; in many areas now you can't even get a doe tag. The time will come Tennessee if these crazy limits keep up

Or when the license get to expensive to hunt in general!

I would simply advocate that we need more aka quota hunts in Nov vs Oct at more wmas for a better hunting experience for everyone
