Catoosa stand preference

Hey guys I got drawn for the first gun hunt at catoosa this year and have never been before and was wondering for those who have experience hunting there if a climbing stand or a ground blind would work better or just still hunting as I had said I have no experience with the area and was just wanting some insight thank you

It's thick in most places so I would go with climber

Please don't still hunt your just going to make everyone mad at you. Remember it's an 1000 man quota. Take a stand, sit still and if possible sit all day. I can't tell you how many big bucks I've heard about getting killed in the middle of the day in catoosa.

Take your climber. Don't still hunt. Be a lot of people there and you will be walking over them if you try to still hunt. Some of them can get downright nasty. Good luck. I'll be there also in the Peavine area.
