Anyone tried using the catfish nuggets/cubes. They are sold in a bag or plastic container. I thought about dropping a ball or two in a pipe set. If they will stay on a hook under water for hours, seems like they would last in a pipe or hole.

Try it. I catch yotes on a bunch of different stuff. Smoker pan goo, fish head, dead chicken bits, venison scraps. expired food, bacon grease. No reason a stinky catfish bait wouldn't get investigated.

It would work. In the winter if u can get a beaver. Cut a bunch of meat off. Let it set out few days in the winter. Take some salt put on it. I sometimes use it with no salt. I let it turn green color. Coyotes will dig a dirt hole out. Trying to get to it. I use a 24 inch auger bit. I get it as deep as i can. Them 2 liked the green beaver meat.
