Last year caterpillars got ahold of my tomato plants and ate a lot of the leaves leaving my tomatoes to burn up in the sun.

What's the best thing to use to kill and keep the caterpillars off the plants?

I can spray anything on the ground and trees around the whole back yard if I have to so what's best?

Are you talking about tomato worms? Seven dust will keep them away but you still have to keep an eye on them. When you see sign of them dust again. Don't over dust because too much will cause leaf burn.

How did you use the chickens? Didn't they eat up your garden?

We have 20+ chickens and I would like to put a couple on bug detail this summer.
