I bought a TP9SF on a whim last October. I have an admitted disdain for Turkish guns but had seen several Youtube videos about it and curiosity took hold. Anyhow, I am very, very impressed with it. There was an old can with a hodge-podge of 9mm ammo that I had accumulated over the years. The pistol fired them all without a hiccough. I have since run all kinds of ammo through it with only one failure to feed. The round almost chambered and only took a slight bump of the slide to send it home. The pistol has yet to be cleaned and is still performing flawlessly after several hundred rounds. It will get a good cleaning/oiling after a few hundered more rounds. The only minor complaint I have is that the slide release is very stiff.

If anyone is looking for an inexpensive pistol, then a Canik should fit the bill.

I have considered a canik, great reviews on them. Only drawback I find in my research of them is the mags for them are kind of high, and I didn't find any aftermarket options.
