Can anybody give me some info on caney where it runs under 111. I went to boat ramp, just wandering if I put in a 19 ft ranger how much of it I could fish. I cannot find any maps showing depths or channels. I also saw musky were caught. Mainly interested in bass or crappie. Maybe do some jug fishing or bow fishing. Thanks

Plenty of water to fish there. You can go upriver a couple miles and won't have any problem with depth down river all the way to Great Falls dam.

Not a ton of cats, carp or gar up there. Would be a pretty poor place to jug or bowfish. Some decent bass and crappie, but there's better lakes for both not that much further away...

There are pleny of bass and crappie in there. It is definately a numbers river. It is not uncommon to catch 20-40 bass in a day. However, catching fish with weight can be a challenge. I think most tournaments down there won with 3 or 4 pounds. There is quiet a bit of water down there now. Once they pull the water down, be careful. There are bunches of stumps in that river. And yes, there are plenty musky to be caught.
