The sluice at Center Hill Dam is discharging 250CFS until further notice. My question is will this prevent wade fishing during periods of no generation?
It shows the elevation to be 497, that seems high for 250CFS. Seems like its normally 495 with the generators off.

Thanks,

Jon

I don't wade fish there but the sluice isn't much. Was right next to it in my kayak. Water appeared about 6" higher than normal with no generation.

Like Catman said, the 250cfs is barely noticeable. What it does do though is greatly improve the water quality (more oxygen) which improves the fishing.

No, it does not prevent wade fishing. The sluice at 250 cfs is my favorite flow. I prefer it over zero flow.
