I don't grow sweet corn

Never preserved it... I dont like the taste of frozen corn though. Only way I will eat sweet corn and really love it is fresh picked from the community garden, eaten raw.

Only thing I have canned is pickles because I dont have a pressure cooker. Pickle brine doesn't need pressure cooking so I'll pickle whatever I want... spicy dill pickles are pretty darn good.

Im interested in this as I have to figure out to keep up with my yield on squash zucis corn and maters this year. Last year I pickled okra and peppers which both went well and I froze field peas (purple hulls).

Any other ideas? How do you go about freezing corn? I planted over 100 corn seeds 2 days back.

Bell peppers work good frozen, just dice them up and freeze, makes good fajitas! Them suckers are 3 to 4 dollars apiece in the winter.
