All but 2 of these are the trees I got from Tractor Supply that we sold all we didn't want and ended up getting ours for free. Thank you Jesus!!

Many memories were made this week.

Bonus! They're coming back for Christmas!! 🥰

Pardon the long post. Texas is a long way away and I don't get to share my Grands very often!!

Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!!

WOW, I hope these trees grow well for your family. We planted our family orchard 12 years ago.

Few lessons: 1. tree spacing is important - double the space you think is adequate. 2. Protect them from critters. Deer, rabbits, etc will come right up to a house to eat leaves, chew on the bark, rub, and just about anything else they can think of to damage the tree. 3. Japanese Beetles seem to love apple (and plum) trees. Sevin spray helps 4. We couldn't get rid of cedar rust by cutting nearby cedar trees. The spores float a long way! Poor granny smith trees couldn't grow in our environment.

Now, we are so thankful as God allowed us to watch our kids and orchard grow!

So blessed

Blessed indeed! Thank you so much for the tips!! I've been reading as much as I can trying to learn how to care for what He gave us. 🙌🏼
