Whats the best one? I saw one on a thread here once but have since forgot its name and I'm hoping it will turn up here.It was earth tone colors grey, brown, tan with no green and used a pattern similar to lines to break it up. I can't remember and its driving me crazy!!Any help would be great thanks in advance.

I'm guessing you're thinkin of the Predator camo. There are a few pages in the Cabelas archery catalog that came today. It looks great but its expensive, a pair of standard pants is $50.

If you think that is high look at the Sitka gear.

Thanks Carlos that was it I looked it up on the net and didn't realize that they had all those different colors and they look really good.Have you seen the heater body suit predator offers one and they are great I used one on my Canada hunt last year it really did the job.

my zmax is the old original trebark camo and if it weren't for the red quiver release button i would have lost it several times.

I've bought a lot of the core 4 element gear (love it) and the mountain mimicry pattern has grown on me. I know its designed for out west, but it fits in here too.

I will down in the Nashville area by the start of this season and have wondered if I should start replacing my gear.

Up here in Wisconsin I almost am exclusively Realtree AP and the other guys in my hunting party are also. Of course we wear just black if inside a ground blind, but we only do that when we have to.

Get ya some Realtree APG. It works good here. I dont really bother making a point in specific camo. I have a bunch of different camo and have been known to mismatch the pants and shirt lol works fine.

How the heck did we ever kill train car loads of deer, turkey, ducks, and predators for so many centuries without so many camo patterns?

Blind luck!!

Any mossy oak in my opinion i don't like real tree. Especially there vertigo pattern its stupid to me good idea gone way wrong. Mossy oak all the way

Probably the more open the better, like ASAT or Predator, but I don't even know if those patterns are available any more. I usually just pick by value, but of the more realistic patterns, Realtree AP seems like it would do a good job. I know Mossy Oak has it's fans, but my nickname for it for years has been "mossy blob". I guess it's probably as good or better than others though, as long as you can STAY in the shade. That's not always easy to do, though, especially later in the season.
